Solar Well Pump Retrofit & Community Water System Trident Wells

Building On A Legacy, Improving Lives Together

Trident Wells is a solar well pump retrofit that upgrades existing community wells with solar pumping, secure storage, purification and monitored distribution, all in a single 20′ container. The well stays. Everything around it gets stronger and smarter. Trident Wells was developed to support water infrastructure initiatives, including Rotary-funded well projects in Haiti.

Starting at $110,000 Well depth, site works, shipping and installation set the final quote.

The well still works, but…

The Infrastructure Around It Hasn't Evolved

More demand, lower efficiency, less impact. These are the challenges communities and ministries face today.

  • Long lines waiting for water
  • Manual pumping takes massive effort
  • Limited daily water production
  • Water quality often goes unverified
  • No storage for emergencies
  • Hard to monitor after installation
  • Repairs depend on local reporting
  • Little operating data for ministries

How Trident Wells solves it

An Engineered Resilience Upgrade

Instead of replacing existing wells, we enhance them. The retrofit preserves the original investment while improving access, reliability and public health.

  1. Existing WellThe hand pump well stays in place
  2. Solar PumpSubmersible pump on a dedicated 1.2 kW array
  3. Secure Storage2 × 500 gal tamper-resistant tanks
  4. PurificationSediment, carbon, UV and chlorine residual
  5. DistributionSmartTAP RFID or token-metered taps
  6. MonitoringCellular telemetry and remote dashboard

The impact

What Solarizing An Existing Well Changes

More People Served

Water is available to more families, more of the time.

Greater Reliability

Less downtime and more resilience in all conditions.

Better Health Outcomes

Verified water quality and improved hygiene reduce waterborne disease.

Smarter Use Of Resources

Lower operating costs and long-term sustainability, backed by real usage data.
