Refresh Miami profiled Blue Currents founder Derek Duzoglou and the containerized microgrids the company is building.
The profile traces roughly two decades of work bringing basic utilities to underserved communities, and the result of that experience: a 10-foot deployable pod that pairs solar generation with water purification or desalination.
It also covers the design thinking behind the system, the emergency-response and corporate-sponsorship models taking shape around it, and why Miami is well placed to become a hub for this kind of resilience technology.
